International Advisory Board

Members of our International Advisory Board, are respected and trusted experts in the business, entertainment, and charity worlds, and in the fields of eduction, sustainability, science, health or human rights. Most are social entrepreneurs or leaders of large international corporations. They have generously donated many hours of their time, skill and expertise to help make Global Angels a thought leader in the charity world.

Where possible they are also patrons of the charity, donating their personal funds to help cover operation costs. Several have brought their companies in as Corporate Angels and lead international fund raising campaigns such as Sir Kevin Smith from GKN, raising $1 million for projects in Africa, and Hamish Dodds from Hard Rock, making us their global charity and raising funds through events and merchandise in their cafe and casino outlets in 50 countries.  David Fischette, from Go West, donated the outstanding television display for five hours on the 30 Nasdeq and Reuters Screens in Times Square, New York as part of the launch of Global Angels US.

They play a key role in strategy and planning how we might fulfill our vision to facilitate the growing movement working to change the course of history for disadvantaged children and their communities while developing long term sustainable solutions. We are united in our desire to develop the Foundation as a new model of charity that connects with a generation of givers who want to know 100% of their funds go where children need it most rather than on hidden administration costs.

We share a passion to support outstanding projects that empower whole communities to break the cycle of poverty for themselves.  To that end the International Advisory Board also recommends and help us research, monitor and expand the international Global network of best practice projects we support. We are especially drawn to support and develop self-sustaining models of charity, which have long term sustainability concepts firmly rooted deep within their strategic thinking and practice. Each project we partner with and champion are personally visited and carefully followed up by at least one of the Advisory Board members or our Ambassadors.

As a team we have also worked together to launch Global Angels in the US, and we meet once a year in London or New York.  The Trustees of the Foundation come from within this group and are very active Advisory Board members. I am thrilled to have such great partners working together as a team to facilitate the challenging mission before us. As Chair of the Advisory Boards, I would like to introduce you to each of them.
