One of our most exciting projects is the Nema Project in Guludo, Mozambique. Until now, the mortality rate for children under five years in the Guludo area has been as high as 35% due to water borne diseases and unsafe drinking water.
In 2008 we built and refurbished water wells to provide safe drinking water to 12,000 people in Guludo, Mozambique. Previously, the community had shared their drinking water holes with animals and disease.
