Special Needs

Children and families living with a child with special needs, most often need practical and emotional support from outside their homes and often specialized nursing care.

“There are 200 million children with disabilities in the world.

There are round 90 per cent of children with disabilities in developing countries that do not attend school”. UN Report

“Disabled children make up a third of the 77 million children worldwide who are excluded from education. That is equivalent to twice the number of children living in the UK.” World Vision UK

Enabling  Kids With Special Needs To Enjoy Their Lives

From children and families living with a disability, to respite homes and hospices for children with life-limiting illness, living  in the western world; to disabled children in Cambodia and Thailand, abandoned on the streets to fend for themselves; to orphans mutilated to beg for the benefit of greedy slave owners in the developing world; there are many children  who need need our support to ensure they get the support and medical care they need.

In my travels to many countries, I have seen the suffering and neglect of many children with disability, particularly in the developing world where there is often no local support. I have also  found some wonderful projects staffed by people that love and care deeply for these children. Let me introduce you to some of our partners through these pages. I invite you to see you can give to ease their burden and support them as they give these children value and help them enjoy their lives.
