Over one billion people on the planet don’t have access to clean, safe drinking water. That’s one in six of us.
Global Angels is bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in community based projects within developing nations. This year over 120,000 people will have received safe drinking water through Global Angels funded projects in Kenya and Mozambique.
Millions of women and young girls are forced to spend hours collecting and carrying water. Time spent walking for water, and resulting diseases of drinking unsafe water, keep them from school, work and taking care of their families. A clean water project nearby means more than safe drinking water to women and children in developing nations; it means time, freedom and incentive to change their communities.
We use 100% of public donations to directly fund sustainable water solutions in areas of greatest need and alongside community development projects.
Just £10 gives at least one person in Africa safe drinking water for 20 years through our partner projects, and very often that includes their animals as well.
