Bonita Norris

"Global Angels is truly a revolution in the way money is raised and used to help children around the world. I chose it as the benefactor of this expedition for the simple reason that I could personally direct where your donations were going, to projects that were important to me. I also felt that if i was to ask anyone to donate to my expedition, whether a member of my family or a person off of the street, then they should have the right to know exactly where their money was going. With the Global Angels promise this was easy: 100% of every penny you give goes directly to my chosen projects, no admin costs and no other hidden ‘fees’. Absolute transparency means absolute trust." We are very proud to announce that our very own Global Angels Ambassador, Bonita Norris, became the Youngest British Female to conquer Mt Everest on the 17th May 2010. Towering 8,848 metres above sea level, Mount Everest is the highest mountain on Earth and is appropriately known as Sagarmatha, or goddess of the sky in Nepal. Bonita took the Global Angels flag with her placing it on the peak of Everest while championing the causes of child soldiers in Uganda, and disabled children in the UK. "Never, ever stop believing in yourself. You never know where you might end up."

Tony Moore

Tony's musical career began when he moved from his home town of Bristol to London to became an original member of the group, IRON MAIDEN, where he took on the role of keyboard/synth player. The band were unknown at that point and Tony wrote and rehearsed with them for a long time until eventually playing one fairly unsuccessful gig. It was at this point that he felt keyboards didn't really work in the band and decided to leave.
After quitting Iron Maiden Tony teamed up with Brian James (from The Damned) to form a group called Tanz Der Youth, recording one single called "I'm Sorry I'm Sorry" for Radar Records (home of Elvis Costello). Although a short lived line up, the band toured opening for The Stranglers and Black Sabbath as well as being at the forefront of the New Wave movement in London where they were also championed by the legendary John Peel

In the early 80's, Tony formed a band as a vehicle for his singing and songwriting talents, called Radio Java. He signed to Carrerre Records and they made an album at the legendary Abbey Road studios. From that album he scored a number 1 hit in Holland at Xmas 1983 with a song called FOOL that was one of the fastest debuting airplay hits of the year.

In the Mid 80's Tony joined the band CUTTING CREW as keyboard player and was part of the success of their iconic hit single "I just died in your arms tonight". With the band he toured The world including playing massive US shows opening for Huey Lewis, Starship and the Bangles as well as doing hundreds of headline gigs. They were the first Western band to play to an audience allowed to dance and stand up in Taiwan, and almost caused a riot amongst the 60,000 inside as well as the tens of thousands who couldn't get in.

He was responsible for creating and building the Kashmir Klub in 1997. The Kashmir was a unique venue in central London that almost single-handedly lead the singer/songwriter acoustic revolution in the UK with debut performances from Damien Rice, KT Tunstall, Imogen Heap, Lucie Silvas, Tom Baxter as well as secret sets from Sheryl Crow, Mick Fleetwood, Dave Stewart and many more.

In 2003 Tony took over running The Bedford in Balham. Under his musical stewardship the venue has grown into an award winning location. In 2004 it won Best Pub in the country, it has twice won the best pub and club award and has seen unique performances from Pete Townshend, Crowded House, Kiki Dee, Willy Mason as well as be a launch pad for the careers of acts such as James Morrison, Paolo Nutini, Amy Macdonald and Jon Allen.

At the end 2004 Tony Moore was made the sole Inductee into the MMF (Music Managers Forum) Roll Of Honour for outstanding contribution to the British Music Industry

In October of 2010 Tony will be awarded a "GOLD BADGE" by the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors for his major contribution to careers of songwriters and the creative industry.

Quotes about Tony Moore:

“Tony believed in me, gave me a stage to be seen and a platform to be heard. I loved those days - we had fun and Tony will always be a legend to me!!!!" Paolo Nutini

“Tony is a total rock of strength to anyone doubting that music is their path in life - I aspire to remain as in love and involved with it as he is.” KT Tunstall

"Tony's passion for music is clear for anyone to see. He makes anything seem possible and has been a huge force in my career so far”. Lucie Silvas

Rachele Brooke Smith

"I love Global Angels and am so excited to be a part of this amazing organization! I have received so many blessings in my life and want to do everything I can to give back and make a positive impact on the world. There is simply nothing better than the gift of love and service both for the person giving and the one receiving and it is something that I openly admit to being addicted to. I really do believe that, as human beings, we have the power to help others and change lives for the better, and I want to spend my life doing exactly that because, 'a life without love is no life at all.' "

An actress, dancer, and enthusiastic youth instructor, Rachele has quickly made a name for herself in Hollywood. She has starred in feature films, television, and national ad campaigns, while continuing to expand her creative pursuits and spread her message of healthy living.

Rachele is active in her local church and volunteers her time for organizations benefiting the homeless, women, and children in need. Rachele’s newest passion has been to spread her philosophy of dance as therapy and has been traveling around the country teaching master classes in dance to kids and teens.

Rachele aspires to be a positive role model for all.

Rachele's favourite quote:

'I've come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that's as unique as a fingerprint - and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard, and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you.' - Oprah Winfrey

"I am so honoured to be an Ambassador for Global Angels. It's such a blessing to be able to spread the message through my music of the groundbreaking progress and change this innovative and forward-thinking charity are making to the world. From the moment I met Molly Bedingfield and the Global Angels team I knew that this was the charity I wanted to represent. Their energy, passion and drive to make a real difference within impoverished communities was so refreshing and with the 100% Promise I just knew this was the one for me! Global Angels gives all of us the chance to Step Up and be an Angel."

Our latest Global Angels Ambassador, Larissa, is an aspiring young artist from Brighton. Singing from the age of 4, Larissa's unique sound and great voice wowed the judges of the EA Games 2009 'Battle Of The Bands' which was covered by T4. Needless to say Larissa won and received an all expenses paid trip to New York to perform. Larissa and her band also were featured on T4's Hollyoaks Music Show 2010, filmed in the Hollyoaks set. Larissa is currently writing with some of the industry's finest and working on a future album... Watch this space!

Larissa has already showcased her talents at Global Angels events, including our 2010 Christmas Benefit Concert with Daniel Bedingfield and 'Christmas Angels' at Bush Hall.

"I first became aware of the Global Angels Charity when I was asked to perform at a gig fundraising for them, when I was just 16. I came home with my distinct pale blue wristband stamped with GLOBAL ANGELS, and proudly wore it for weeks on end until it finally perished and I had to reluctantly throw it away!

More recently I met up with Molly after we had been tweeting on Twitter and she told me more about the charity and its 100% promise. I knew immediately I had to become involved. As part of my music degree’s final year I had to run an event, so thought this would be the perfect opportunity to put on a gig at Bush Hall to raise awareness and funds for Global Angels. It was an extremely rewarding experience to know that myself, and everyone who took part ‘Stepped up’ and changed disadvantaged people’s lives and made a difference.

It’s an honour and privilege to represent the Charity as a Global Angels Ambassador, to talk about the charity’s 100% promise and the amazing work the Charity does around the world in my interviews, and with the people I meet as I pursue my career as a recording artist and songwriter."

Jeffrey Michael

Jeffrey Michael Design is a creative design firm that holds within it lighting, set and costume design. All facets of the creative are related to lighting design, and work with organic, one of a kind couture pieces.

Jeffrey Michael is currently creating celebrity costume design for stage, advertising, performances, and red carpet. These pieces are all one of a kind, and created through meeting with the specific performer, and then integrating their stage persona with their looks, taste, and musical style. All pieces made are organic and find creative ways to present that performers character and style. Examples include corsets made of wheat, dresses made of baubles, and neck pieces made of maple leaves, all integrating lighting. As JMD takes the strong position that lighting is the future, almost all costume pieces are lit from within or infused with lighting. This takes the form of many different variations of costume that fit all types of performers from R&B, to jazz, to pop. Each costume is specifically tailored to the performer and often sculpted onto them in a very hands on process of creation.

JMD trained as a classic architect 5 years ago in Ottawa, Canada. Each design project he worked with focused towards lighting and eventually moved him fluently into lamp design. After several trips to Paris and London, he settled in London, and began on his first creative commercial collections. Focusing on soft organic shapes and futurism, he has began work though his selftitled style "organic futurism", which uses light to sculpt the body in each one of a kind creation.

At the moment, Jeffrey has worked with such pop stars as U2, Kimberly Wyatt, Diana Vickers, Jason Derulo, Daniel Bedingfield, Marina & the Diamonds, Groove Armada, and the dj likes of DJ Tombstone from NYC, and Disco Damage from London. He has had the pleasure of working in the medium of tv for Louis Spence's Showbusiness, Got to Dance, and for the brand Rimmel London for their signature 'Get the London Look' commercials with the one and only Georgia May Jagger.
JMD is currently moving into larger adventures including concert performances for costume and set design for world talent artists, large scale art gallery displays of artwork pieces, and larger work on commercial and movie sets.

He is currently based in London, where he travels back and forth with his clients between NYC, Los Angeles and London.
