In November 2005 we launched FEED A CHILD FOR A YEAR -
our campaign to feed one million children a year in Latin America, Africa and Asia.
For just £40 you can FEED A CHILD FOR A YEAR through our school feeding programs and social welfare/HIV feeding clinics and orphanages. We are excited to announce that we are now feeding and educating over 3,000 children each day of the school year!
Why FEED A CHILD FOR A YEAR?
15 million children having been orphaned by HIV/AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia; alongside the droughts, wars and famines plaguing so many parts Africa the situation is desperate. Orphaned children, as young as nine and ten are the primary caregivers for younger siblings. It is crucial for us to get nutritional food and aid to these children for them to survive and thrive.
Global Angels has partnered with many excellent on-the-ground projects that are feeding and educating children while providing fresh water and community support. The Global Angels Team have researched, visited and know these dynamic projects personally and guarantee they making a very real difference in the lives of hundreds of thousands of children in serious need. Our Feed A Child projects are currently in Sudan, South Africa, Mozambique, Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Costa Rica, Thailand, Cambodia and India.
